APCO Rubber Flapper Check Valves For Backflow Prevention
APCO CRF Rubber Flapper Check Valves prevent backflow in municipal and industrial services such as water systems, raw sewage, industrial wastewater and slurries. The valves are extremely durable. The check valve requires minimal maintenance and it’s straight-through and unobstructed 100% flow path prevents clogging.
CRF 100C Rubber Flapper Check Valves meet the requirements of the AWWA C508 standard and are NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and NSF 372 certified for drinking water applications.
CRF Rubber Flapper Check Valves feature a 45° body seat angle that minimizes slamming. The valve comes with a standard internal leaf spring that provides rapid valve closure prior to flow reversal. An optional externally adjustable Spring Return closure control device is available to reduce surge in high head applications.
The steel-reinforced rubber flapper provides bubble-tight sealing. We cycle-tested the nylon-reinforced flapper 1,000,000 times and the results are impressive – so impressive that we off a 25-year warranty on the flex portion of the flapper!
CRF Rubber Flapper Check Valves handle applications either clean and dirty media such as raw sewage or water systems. They are also used for industrial wastes, chemicals, erosive or corrosive services, acid lines, slurries, scrubbers, and salt water.
CRF Rubber Flapper Check Valves are available in sizes 2-48″ and constructed from ductile iron with ASME 125/150 flanges. Construction to meet the AIS American Iron & Steel Act or the BABA Build America Buy America Act is available.
As an option, DeZURIK can elastomer line valves for extra abrasion resistance. A variety of accessories are available including a Hold Open Device, Position Indicator and Proximity Switches for position monitoring.
