APCO 60” Swing Check Valves in Pump Station Help Protect Airport From Flood Damage

Four 60” APCO CVS-6000-AC swing check valves are installed at a major metropolitan airport pump station.  This pump station directs storm water away from the airport to protect against flooding damage during tropical storms.  These valves are part of extensive post-hurricane infrastructure modifications that are critical to the protection of the city and its transportation system. These are the largest swing check valves made by DeZURIK since the APCO acquisition. Also shown in the photo are four fabricated 12” ASV Sewage Air/Vacuum Valves. Valves on this project met the requirements of the American Iron & Steel Act.
