The DeZURIK/Brenny 8th annual 5K fundraiser was held on Saturday, April 28th. The event attracted 119 walkers and runners, including kids of all ages. The annual 5K raises funds for local charities. This year’s charitable recipient is Project Astride, an organization that provides therapeutic recreational horse activities for individuals with cognitive or physical challenges. The 5K event raised $5000 for Project Astride who will use the funds to purchase a much-needed 4-wheeler to assist with barn chores and facility maintenance.
