DeZURIK custom designed Hydraulic Power Units (HPU) can be configured to deliver continual power for valve operation, and they can be configured to provide emergency power in case of power failure. A major metropolitan Department of Environmental Protection needed three Hydraulic Power Unit Skids each operating two, 48” Willamette Metal Seated Cone Valves (VMC). The unit included a 36 gallon reservoir, two 10 HP electric motors, 6.9 GPM pumps, and 20 gallons of accumulation to close the valves upon power failure.
