DeZURIK RCV ROTARY CONTROL VALVE IN SODIUM BORATE PRODUCTION

A sodium borate mine reduced maintenance costs, reduced liquor waste, and increased operating efficiency when it switched to using a DeZURIK RCV Rotary Control Valve as a vacuum feed control valve in a sodium borate process. The DeZURIK RCV valve replaced a competitor’s failing tapered plug valve which was causing routine production upsets and failing in less than four months. The DeZURIK RCV is now in its third continuous year of accurate control of borate liquor in the crystallization process.
