DeZURIK, Inc. Appoints Bryan Burns as New President and Chief Operating Officer
March 27, 2013 – Sartell, Minnesota, USA – DeZURIK, Inc., a global leader in municipal and industrial valves, has announced the appointment of Bryan Burns as its new President and Chief Operating Officer. The announcement was made today by Larry Korf, Chief Executive Officer of DeZURIK, Inc. and will take effect immediately. As part of this planned DeZURIK leadership transition, Korf will retain his position as CEO and has accepted a position on the DeZURIK Board of Directors.
According to Korf, “Bryan has earned the leadership responsibility and has my full endorsement along with our owners and the Board of Directors. His new responsibilities will include Operations at our facilities in Sartell, MN; Cambridge, Ontario; Schaumburg, Illinois; Redmond, Washington; and Marietta, Georgia – along with the entire domestic and global sales and marketing efforts in the business.”
Burns joined DeZURIK in 2010 as VP of Operations and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in January 2012. Previously, Burns was employed by the Brunswick Corporation, where he was President of the Crestliner Division. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and earned his MBA from Duke University.
